Jennifer O’ Sullivan  MA BMus LTCL

ToHarpHold_10.jpgJennifer O’ Sullivan is a concert harpist based in Cork, with a background in classical, traditional and liturgical music. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from CIT Cork School of Music, where she studied with harp teacher Claire O’ Donnell. In 2017, she was awarded the CIT Faculty of Business and Humanities Postgraduate Scholarship, allowing her to complete the Masters of Music at Cork School of Music, specialising in Performance. Jennifer graduated in 2019 with First Class Honours.

Jennifer has performed with the Cork School of Music Symphony Orchestra, the Cork Concert Orchestra, Band 1 Brigade and The Defence Forces Massed Bands. She is a music teacher at Togher Music School, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, and teaches harp at a private premises in Cork city.

Jennifer has been playing at weddings for many years and, during this time, has developed a varied repertoire, from which couples can draw inspiration or add their own suggestions. Jennifer is resident wedding harpist at the Imperial Hotel, Cork, and harpist at St Joseph’s Church, SMA, Wilton.

Jennifer also plays a range of other instruments and holds a Licentiate of Trinity College London Performance Diploma in classical flute.
